Losing at the Anfield doesn’t have to mean anything to Roma. After all, this team has managed to come back from the 4:1 defeat to Barcelona. Still, this doesn’t mean that they’re traveling to the North of England waving a white flag. On the contrary, I’m sure that they’ll try to win that game.
Roma have been playing very well lately, winning three out of four previous matches, counting all competitions. Their defense has been particularly impressive in those games. They’ve managed to keep a clean sheet against Barcelona and Lazio, two teams famous for their attacking prowess.
What might be a problem for Roma is that they’re competing for one of the top 4 spots in the Serie A. There are only four rounds left and Inter have only one point fewer. What this means is that dropping down to the 5th position is a serious concern. Of course, this doesn’t mean that they will forget about the Champions League. On the contrary, I think they will put all they got into winning the doubleheader.
